Safety Tips
Every person we introduce was referred to us by a friend of theirs and has completed a live selfie check using our verification provider, Didit. A selfie check confirms that a real, live person completed it. It does not confirm a person's identity, age, or background, and we do not conduct criminal background checks. You are responsible for your own safety, and whether to meet anyone we introduce is always your decision.
Protecting your information
Never send money or share financial information. Do not send money, gift cards, or cryptocurrency, or share bank or card details, with anyone you have been introduced to, even if they describe an emergency. Report any such request to us.
Protect your personal information. Do not share your home address, workplace, daily routine, or other sensitive details with someone you have not yet met.
Meeting in person
Meet in public and stay in public. Meet in a busy, public place for your first dates. Do not meet at a private residence.
Tell someone your plans. Let a friend or family member know where you are going, when, and who you are meeting. Keep your phone charged and with you.
Control your own transportation. Arrange your own way to and from the date so you can leave at any time.
Know your limits. Be aware of how alcohol and other substances affect you. Do not leave your drink or belongings unattended.
Leave if you feel uncomfortable. You may end a date at any time, for any reason. Venue staff can help if you feel unsafe.
Consent. Any intimate activity requires ongoing, mutual consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Reporting a concern
To report a concern about someone you were introduced to, text REPORT to us or email hello@someoneinmind.com. We review every report. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
