Someone in Mind (“we,” “us”) helps friends recommend friends for serious dating introductions. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
What we collect
- Phone numbers and message content when you text us, or when you enter a number on an invite page to agree to a match text
- Information you share about a friend you’re recommending (and about yourself as the recommender)
- Verification data if you complete identity or face checks (processed by our verification provider)
- Basic technical logs (timestamps, delivery status)
How we use it
- To run matchmaking and send introductions when there’s a match
- To reply to your texts and complete onboarding
- To notify you about batch openings or status updates you asked for
- To prevent spam, abuse, and impersonation
- To comply with law and carrier messaging rules
SMS / text messaging
If you text our number or opt in on our site, you may receive conversational messages about recommendations, matchmaking, and related service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.
Mobile opt-in information (your phone number and consent to receive SMS) is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your phone number. Opting out of texts does not delete recommendation records we may already hold, unless you ask us to delete them.
Sharing
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Profile details shared with a potential match do not include your mobile number or SMS consent. We share information with service providers who help us operate (for example messaging, hosting, identity verification, and product analytics), only as needed to provide the service. Analytics never include your phone number or what you write.
Our automated texts use artificial intelligence (AI) services to read and reply to your texts, transcribe voice notes, and help our matchmakers review recommendations. We send these providers only what is needed for that task, under terms that do not allow them to use your messages to train their models.
If you say yes to an introduction, we ask for a recent photo. We share it only with that one match, and only if they say yes too. We delete it when the introduction ends.
Retention
We keep recommendation and conversation data while your request is active and for a reasonable period afterward for safety and operations, unless you request deletion sooner where applicable.
